This process details how to manually set the security PIN on an iPhone 3GS.
- From the main menu, select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘General’
- Select ‘Passcode Lock’
- Enter in the desired passcode.
- Select the ‘Require Passcode’ option and select ‘After 5 minutes’
