How to remove gmail accounts on iPad, iPod, iPhone

The steps below detail how to remove a gmail account on an iPad, iPod or iPhone.

1. Open the gmail app
2. In the top left corner, click on the menu icon
3. 
4. At the bottom of the screen, click on ‘Manage accounts’
5. 
6. This is display each of the accounts connected to the gmail app
7. You can use the on/off switch to temporarily disable accounts
8. Click on the ‘Edit’ button at the top right of the window
