Firefox fights Google Chrome with speed and resources

Firefox has always been a strong contender in the browser wars but in the last few years it’s been a loosing battle against Google Chrome.

Recently Mozilla released Firefox 57 – claiming to be twice as fast and 30% lighter than Google Chrome.

This offers would offer some serious competition against Google Chrome, which has grown to be a massive resource hog – slowing down the browser and your computer over time.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out in real usage statistics – will Firefox claw back users? Any noticeable change will take months or years be seen – but this is right battlefront to take on Chrome.
