Windows 10 – How to check activation status

The following steps show how to check the product activation status of a Windows 10 installation.

  1. Right-click on the Windows Start button and choose ‘System’
  3. Scroll down until you see the ‘Change product key or upgrade your edition of Windows’ link and click on it
  5. The activation status is displayed at the top of the window, under ‘Activation’
