Windows 10 – How to enable auto logon

The following process describes how to enable auto logon for a Windows 10 computer.

How to enable auto logon for Windows 10

  1. Using the keyboard press the Windows button + R
  2. Enter control userpasswords2 and click ‘OK’
  3. Widnows10-AutoLogon1
  4. From the list of usernames, select the account you need to automatically logon with
  5. Un-tick ‘Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer’
  6. Widnows10-AutoLogon2
  7. Click ‘OK’
  8. Enter in the password for the account and click ‘OK’
  9. Widnows10-AutoLogon3
  10. and you’re done! Restart the computer and watch as Windows logs in automatically.
