Windows 7 – How to display hidden files and folders

The following steps show how to show hidden files and folders in Windows 7.

  1. Open File Explorer (Windows key + E)
  2. Click on the ‘Tools’ menu then ‘Folder options’
  4. Open the ‘View’ tab
  5. then under ‘Hidden files and folders’ select ‘Show hidden files, folders, and drives’
